ABOUT THE KEIKI KOVER

What's in a name?

The name "Keiki" is Hawaiian for little one, or baby. For me it is a word that stirs up many fond memories: playing on the beach with my brothers, swimming, boogie boarding, basking in the Hawaiian sunshine, listening to my grandfather and uncles sing & play the ukulele, and watching my Grandmother hula.

I lived on the island of Oahu as a child and eventually moved with my family to the mainland, where I reside today with my husband & three children.

On a recent trip back to Oahu to visit my Grandparents, I realized I needed a nursing cover that would shield me completely, look great, and at the same time be soft and breathable for my baby. The Keiki Kover™ (pronounced Kay-Key Cover) was born and the Keiki Kover revolution began soon after. The Keiki Kovers quickly caught on like wild fire. People loved the sophisticated look and the incredibly soft, premium fabric. They began asking where they could get one either for themselves, or for others who were nursing or expecting babies.

I started sewing Keiki Kovers at night when my children were asleep. When I could no longer keep up with the growing demand, my husband and I created Keiki Baby, LLC - a company dedicated to making mothers lives easier and baby's lives more comfortable.

The Brand?

Like its name, the Keiki Kover brand is original and fresh. Our inspiration is the loving mother who desires the very best for her baby. We strive to make your life as a nursing mother a little easier, more comfortable & relaxing. And like your child, our products are original, soft & subtle, yet bright & beautiful. Despite our quality fabrics and made in the USA label, our Keiki Kovers are still affordable, because we at Keiki Baby believe that every nursing mother deserves her very own "nursing paradise."
